Nama means bow, as means I, and te means you. Therefore, namaste literally means “bow me you” or “I bow to you.”
Welcome to my website and blog. This is a collection of my sometimes random thoughts, musings, and explorations of living with chronic illness. While I am living with multiple sclerosis (read my story here) and I write about the ups and downs of my life, I am not defined by it.
I have titled my blog “living what is” because my life encompasses more than my illness and it is my deepest desire is to accept whatever is present in my life with dignity and grace…. even when it is “messy.”
Mark Nepo writes…”I write about what I need to know.” Me, too. I invite you to join me.
There is something wonderfully bold and liberating about saying yes to our entire imperfect and messy life.Tara Brach
